A quick peek at the new floral collections at Bloomington’s Bloomington Market
Bloomington, Minn.
(AP) Bloomington is the perfect place to start a floral garden, with a garden center in the heart of a historic city, beautiful flower gardens, a museum dedicated to the arts and a blossoming garden garden market.
But now Bloomington has a new, more formal flower shop, with flowers like roses and carnations.
The Bloomington flower shop opens this week.
The flowers are priced between $30 and $100 and are displayed in a cool, modern setting.
There are floral display cases and tables, and there’s a large collection of new floral decorations.
“I’m just really excited to see what people are going to come up with and what they’re going to find here,” said Bloomington Mayor Michael Nutter, who announced the new flower shop.
Nutter said the new shop has the potential to attract more customers, particularly in a market that’s becoming a hot destination for weddings and other special occasions.
“It’s going to be a great opportunity for the city to grow our community and be a part of the community and to support it in any way we can,” he said.
“If you look at the history of this city, you know that it’s been here before.
It’s always been a part, and now it’s got the opportunity to be part of this great city and its history.”
Nutter called Bloomington a vibrant, diverse city.
The new Bloomington Flower Market will be located at the former Bloomington Mall, which was closed in 2008.
It will have two flower stalls, a floral display room and a flower market.
The market’s website says it’s open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with flowers being priced from $30 to $100.
It says it will also feature food trucks and vendors selling seasonal produce and crafts.
“We’re excited to start this exciting new chapter and bring this beautiful and unique city back to life,” Nutter said.
