By Karen O’ConnorPublished Feb 08, 2017 07:03:30When you think of fresh flowers from Herr, you probably think of the flowers that he grows in his backyard.
But this is a different kind of fresh flower.
She’s got the smell of fresh thymes, and she has the taste of fresh basil, and that’s exactly what you’re going to love about this one-of-a-kind flower from Herrs farm in Minnesota.
“When you walk in here and smell the fresh thymena, you’ll be like, ‘Oh my God, it’s fresh thymanas,'” Herr says.
The basil, which he bought on a whim when he was shopping for fresh basil for a garden project, is made from fresh basil from his garden.
“The basil is really just a very simple kind of basil, you can pick it up at the supermarket and it’s just a bunch of seeds and basil and basil leaves and basil powder and basil oil,” he says.
Herr is a certified organic gardener who grows herbs, vegetables and other plants from his backyard, but the herbs and plants he grows are all organic, certified organic.
That means he uses only organic ingredients.
He has to follow strict guidelines to ensure that everything he grows is grown with the highest standards of quality.
“I can’t guarantee it will taste like the stuff I’m going to get,” he explains.
“I just hope it will be better.
I’m just hoping it’s going to be better than what I’ve got in my garden.”
Herr has been growing fresh thymens since 2008, and he’s grown about 200 varieties of them so far.
“We just started with about three or four, and now we have over 500,” he notes.
“We’re just starting to see the harvest that we’re getting, and it has really been amazing.”
Herrs herbs and vegetables are the best, freshest and freshest in the area.
But his basil, fresh and fresh, is a winner.
“There’s something about basil that it has a bit of sweetness to it, but it’s still a good, fresh basil,” he adds.
“You could eat it like you would any other basil.”
